Yes: Macugnaga / Monterosa is a natural mountain destination if you stay on Lake Maggiore, on Lake Orta or on Lake Mergozzo. From the lake you can plan a day at the foot of Monte Rosa — village, trails, Walser House, mine and, when open, lifts — and book experiences online.

Can I take the chairlift or cableway?
